standard with maple neck?

Hi there,

I'm looking at purchasing a c2006 standard that has a maple neck rather than the typical mahogany. Did the standard get built with maple as well or might this be a special? Also the fretboard has two dot markers in the scoop area, I haven't seen others with this. Any insight would be much appreciated.

	Biehnbanjer says: 10/19/2021 11:11:23 AM Thanks Patrick. Hmmm...The rim is 1/2” thick, two 1/4” plies. Heel-cap appears to be ebony, and matches the fingerboard and peg-head facing. Maybe a custom standard?

	eandreucci says: 11/13/2023 3:57:36 AM I have recently obtained a Bart Reiter Standard made in 2005 which has the same two dots in the scoop. Interesting.
