I see on Elderly Instruments, Coming Soon for all of Bart's models. I'm assuming he is still building, can anyone confirm this?

	jbalch says: 8/15/2020 5:48:55 PM From what I understand, Bart did say he had stoppped taking orders a while ago. He even hinted that he might sell the shop. But recently on facebook, he posted photos if a new batch in the works. Seems like he got into a building mood - and headed back out to the shop. Personally I hope Bart will continue building - completely on his own terms. I'd love to see him make a few banjos whenever the mood strikes him. Maybe even make some custom one-off banjos. BUT I think the supply of new Reiter banjos may be very limited. If you want one and Elderly can supply it - pull the trigger. ;<)

The owner of the shop had three that day and told me he didn't know if he would get any more in. thankful I was able to get one. I love it
GeoffB864 says: 1/14/2021 1:40:34 PM I'll have to double check when I get home but I think my number was 4895. I had heard that he was going to stop at 4,000 and then decided to stop at 5,000. So if he's stopping at 5,000 that's only a few more batches. If you see one I'd get it.
	Paulburnsartstudio says: 1/16/2021 2:48:36 PM I purchased number 4874 on 9/11/2020. It is a 12" Dobaphone. While waiting on it I snapped up number 392, It is a Special with a custom peghead. It is a fantastic sounding banjo.

They had (2) 11s and (1) 12 come in and they all got scooped up within a few days. I've been reading a lot of threads in this group for the past few months leading up to the purchase and I gotta say thanks to everyone for all of the tips and set up suggestions. I may be asking a few silly questions in the up coming few weeks. :)
