Hey all Reiter owners. I'm new to the group and had a question about crown height for the head on my 2011 Regent. I bought this banjo used several months ago and it has an Elite Amber head on it. It appears to have a medium crown (7/16") but since I don't know how old it is or how much it stretched, I'm not sure if it started out as a low crown head. The head that is on there now can't be tightened any more even if I wanted to because there is only a small gap between the ledge cut into the heal of the neck and the band on the head. Anyway.... I was going to try a Fiberskin head on it and wanted some advice before I ordered it. Thanks
