Beginners Blues (helpful blog)

From brae on 1/21/2017 11:39:37 AM

One of the biggest dangers of being a beginner is not "knowing the enemy", in other words, knowing what kind of aches and pains you can expect. If you are aware of these things ahead of time, you will not get so traumatized when they happen! I wrote a blog on some of the common problems that beginners face, and some creative solutions for them, enjoy, and never ever give up!

it was an interesting read, it would seem tho my biggest problem with playing is finding the time, by the time I get home from a long day at work then take care of the house the kids then dinner then ready fro bed time I can finally sit down with my banjo but its so loud later at night I'm afraid I will wake people:( so I stuffed a sweater in my banjo drum to muffle the strums I NEED to practice.

Hey thanks for reading the blog, and welcome to the wonderful wacky world of banjo! Sounds like you are having the classic "finding time" and "how not to bother people" issues that we all go through, I did to my friend :-)

I would like to offer you my "baby Steps to the Banjo" lesson, I marked it as free for a bit so if you hirry over you can still get it: jamalong.org/product/baby-step...the-banjo

let me know of you ever want to do a vid-call lesson as well, I'm happy to help ya out!
