I recently purchased the above 6 string banjo. When I got it home I noticed that there was a severe dip in the bridge. I contacted Tanglewood and to be honest they weren't that helpful. Anyway, after reading a few 'set up" blogs I went ahead and re-tensioned the head. This reduced the dip a little, but not fully upon further investigation I saw that the tip of the bridge had a slight twist. Decided to change the bridge to a Fielding Ironwood, which sounds great bye the way. When I removed the old bridge I found that the tip was only being held in place at one end. Had I continued to tension the head I could of ended up splitting it or possibly of caused serious damage to the instrument..

I guess this was my fault as I should of checked this out before leaving the store. But just thought that I should let you good people be aware of this.
