I am proud and very fortunate to be the new owner of Wade Mainer's circa 1930s Special No. 2, which I bought through Elderly Instruments, where Wade was a regular visitor over the years. I have been a long-time fan of his music and emulate, as best I can, his way of playing. To have one of his instruments is the pinnacle of my career as a fan. Now, if only I could get my hands on one of Doc Watson's guitars...!
