Good to see our group is starting to grow. I have been playing since 1976 and have always enjoyed the many styles of Earl Scruggs. He has taught us so much through the years on just how versatile the 5-string banjo is. One favorite era of mine was The Earl Scruggs Revue. Earl carries on this tradition with his current Family & Friends group. A true visionary of the banjo.

	ess4439 says: 2/7/2011 7:23:13 PM For me today it's American Made World Played. Just a great tune. Tons of tasty modern Earl tidbits in that song. I love the ending. 	Randy Escobedo says: 2/7/2011 8:26:28 PM One great tune! Another one I like to play is Folsom Prison Blues. It's fun to give that fourth string a crank down to the low note by ear. I was picking these tunes this past weekend at SPBGMA.
