20-hole Gold Star GF-100 tone ring.
Originally came from a 2006 GF100.
Very excellent, crisp tone.
Not overly bright - it has just the right amount of growl and pop.
One of the best rings I've ever put in a banjo.
I personally guarantee this ring is just as good if not equal to more expensive rings.
I have had tone rings before, that never performed like I thought they did. As a result, I never felt invigorated to play with that tone ring installed.
This ring is not one of those rings.
I'm putting a tone hoop in my current banjo, so I won't be needing the ring any more.
This would be a great ring to use in a custom build.
