Up for sale is my 2012 Stelling Sunflower in great overall condition. Has the Tony Pass lost timber rim (mistakenly referred to as Joe Pass in the video, apologies on that!)
Very minor fret wear (just a tiny bit under the second fret “G” string). Great action with room to spare in either direction on the truss rod.
Wood is in excellent condition overall — a bit of hazing on the resonator which I imagine can be buffed out with ease. One small scuff where the flange fits into the resonator, one very tiny nick on the headstock edge (will provide pics). Some light tarnish on the metalwork, but I’m certain it could be polished to perfection if that’s your thing.
A few minor issues to be noted:
—there is a small, light depression on the back of the neck under the third fret where I assume a capo was too tightly clamped.
— the spike on the 10th fret has fallen out, and the spike on the 8th seems to be pushed in a bit too far. 7 and 9 work great.
—OEM Stelling case is missing one latch. Very clean otherwise.
