This is another Custom Inlay fingerboard that was on a banjo I shipped but arrived with a broken neck. The break was fairly severe and the banjo warranteed a new neck.
The frets were glued in so they came out without any chipping. The back was planed down and the fingerboard measures a consistant .168 along it’s entire length. You’ll note a small void on the back of the fingerboard. It’s not deep and I don’t know how it got there. Take a 7 day look and see if it meets your purposes.
If it’s so nice, why are you selling? We moved 3 years ago and downsized. My work area went from nearly 2000 sq ft to less than 200. The big “machines” couldn’t make the trip. Also, I’ll be 78 in a few months so it’s time to stop. We’ve downsized and the wife is very happy. Isn’t the way it’s supposed to be.
