This is a very nice looking and sounding banjo built around a 1983 Gold Star Crowe rim (40 yrs) with signed label, Huber vintage tone ring, Granada style tension hoop and armrest, and 80's vintage GS GF200 neck. Previous owner had the "Gold Star" covered with "Gibson" as well as "Mastertone" added to the neck block. Unsure which gold parts came from the original Crowe but possibly the co-rods, hooks and nuts. Presto tailpiece is not plated nor a few other parts. Armrest is gold plated from Boyd. Tuners are modern Gotoh. Resonator is very nice but not sure who made it.
