This tailpiece came from a gold plated Stromberg Voisnet tenor from the 1920s.
It seems to structurally solid,no cracks.
The plating looks like a 100 year old presto should,Not worn through.I did only a minimum of cleaning.
The original mounting bolt has a bend that was needed for the banjo it was mounted on.
