A somewhat difficult to source part, this Kel Kroyden KK-11 resonator has a few issues but will still thrive in its intended purpose: making your banjo flashier and louder. The MOTS veneer as held up well in this parts 90ish years of existence, though it is lifting in one corner. The blue finish has been stripped from exterior of the resonator walls, but it is still intact on the resonators interior.
There appears to have been some damage at the bottom of the resonator wall which appears to have been securely but messily repaired. I have the flange from this banjo as well (it will likely be listed shortly) and it is broken in the same spot so likely the instrument was dropped at some point.
As typically found on sub Mastertone Grade Gibson made banjos, this has 3 wall lugs and all are intact.
This is literally rough around the edges, but it has plenty of life left. It’s issuable as is but a competent craftsperson could certainly clean it up nicely.
Please reach out with any questions and thanks for looking!
