This stunning banjo has a 26-inch scale, backstrapped maple neck, and 12-inch maple rim with whyte laydie tonering; the rim has fine marquetry trim on the bottom and abalone inlay on the interior; the heel is beautifully carved and the peghead and neck have extensive and meticulously engraved inlays on every fret in the style of the SS Stewart banjos from over a century ago. Jim White was a student of Doug Unger, and this bright, powerful banjo is a beautiful example of his fine craftsmanship and artistry. Hard shell case.
