This vintage nickel plated wire armrest would be an upgrade in comfort on any open back banjo new or old. The threading on the adjustable legs works great and while one of the feet it slightly bent, it still functions fine. It has a rubber cover on the part that comes in contact with the players arm, which is somewhat discolored from years of use. It can be permanently removed though I can’t vouch for how good the plating looks underneath it though.
