I’ve had a few Style one Gibsons from the 20s and the only difference I can see is the lack of binding on the resonator and the economy tailpiece. I cleaned this one up a little and strung it up,it sounds fine with the brass rod tone ring but if I were younger I’d build a honking bluegrass banjo out of this one.
It’s a little hard to see with the stain bled over the top but it’s a full thickness 3 ply rim,11”.
I’m not of a mind to dicker much on price,I’ve been watching parts prices and I know how to take it apart. ;)
It’ll ship in the original case which is no museum piece but still serviceable.
