Here’s a chance to make your banjo Flint Hill Special ready somewhat on the cheap. These chrome plated Schaller tuners were made in Germany sometime in the past forty to fifty years. They were in a big parts stash I acquired so no idea if they were ever used before. The D Tuners work well. When the stops are engaged, they turn quite smoothly. However there is some resistance while tuning them when the stops are not engaged.
The two normal planetary tuners work perfectly.
The fifth peg is functional though it tunes a little “bumpy”.
So these don’t function like new so I’ve priced them at roughly half of what a new set would run you. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
