I have a Hatfield Flying Eagle, curly maple OPF banjo neck for sale, that would be a great choice for someone who may not be able to afford one of the higher-end conversion necks.
This Hatfield neck was custom made for John Mark Batchelor, and his last name is engraved in the place of the usual Mastertone block.
Excellent action. Possibly the best, fastest neck I have ever come across, and that is no understatement. Arthur Hatfield knows his necks.
Nut width is 1.240", and fret width at the 22nd fret is 1.8".
Absolutely gorgeous flamed maple.
Why am I selling this neck?
I have run into some very serious insurmountable problems with my current work vehicle. To say that it needs immediate replacement, is an understatement.
I have already raised a portion of funds to replace the vehicle, but am selling the neck to finish reaching my goal.
Not trying to rush anyone; however, the sooner I get the neck sold, the sooner I will be able to be back on the road with a decent vehicle.
This neck will be sold on a first to come up with payment basis.
Make me an offer, and we'll work something out.
PayPal is my preferred method of payment.
$700 obo, tuners not included.
No truss rod cover.
The lag bolts WILL BE included.
