This one is not in the best of shape, but it deserves another chance at being a banjo again. This banjo has a 11-1/4" rim and an 18 fret neck. The biggest issue is that the ebonized hardwood peghead overlay fell off when I removed the tuners (non original Ludwig planets, which I will have in a separate listing). That overlay is cracked and anyone restoring this will likely want to replace it. The finish hasn't held up well, and it is flaking off the rim. It seems somewhat stable on the neck, though in far from great shape. However on the plus side, the neck seems straight and the frets have almost no ware on them. One hook and nut set is a modern replacement and an additional hook is also replaced. This banjo has no tuners or tailpiece.
Includes a solid but too large hardshell case. Thanks for looking and feel free to reach out with any questions.
