Beautiful, custom made Dan Pennington mahogany block rim with ebony rim cap, 11" in diameter, 2 3/8" high (2 5/8 with tone ring installed) and 1/2" thick, fitted with a vintage Little Wonder style (maker unknown) tone ring. Dan did the tone-ring fitting himself when he made the rim, and it's a perfect fit. Purchased about 12 years ago, I just have too many projects that I'm not going to get too. Rim/pot is unfinished and needs to be drilled for head mounting hardware (24 shoes). Comes with a reproduction heavy Presto tailpiece, a repro Gibson style, one attachment armrest, single rod neck mounting hardware, Stew-Mac 24 bracket notched tension hoop, Elite fiberskyn head, 24 repro Vega ball nuts, 24 repro Vega hooks, 24 repro Vega shoes, bolts and washers, and a dowel stick attachment screw if your neck has a dowel stick. All that is needed are a neck, tuners and strings. The vintage tone ring sounds great (had it on another banjo years ago) and this will make a great sounding open back (or resonated with the right hardware) banjo, with that warm mahogany sound. This was priced a little high, have adjusted it downward to sell.
