I love these banjos and how they sound way better than they have any right to. However, I don’t love owning three of them, as I do right now.
Anyway, for those unfamiliar, these banjos have Bakelite rims and a 26 13/16” sale neck. This one has 16 brackets and a replacement no knot tailpiece. The fifth string tuner is a modern Gotoh. It includes a cool old chipboard case.
Plays comfortably and sounds a bit on the bright side. The best sounding banjo that $250 will get shipped to your door in the US.
