I got this neck from Robin Smith and fingerboard from Huber Banjos years ago and never used it/them. It is I think a Stage 2 CNC curly maple neck blank from First Quality Musical Supplies before they moved from KY to AL. The peghead shape is already roughed to an RB-11 shape and tuners holes already drilled. 2 way truss rod and filler strips installed, as is a nice veneer on the peghead reverse for a deluxe touch. I'm including a slotted and contoured but not inlaid CNC made Huber prewar scale fingerboard (same production fingerboard used on Huber Banjos).
The neck blank and fingerboard are exactly as they came from the makers; nothing has been done to them since they were made.
There is some work to do to complete this neck; please see the pictures.
Although this is listed as new and NOS, it has been properly stored and seasoning for several years, so there may be some minor dust present.
The darker color of the wood on the back side of the neck shaft in the pictures is just naptha that I wiped on to show the grain for the pictures.
