!! ATTN !! - For sale - a 1989 Gibson RB 3. I have lowered the price AND am throwing in a new superior white ABS banjo case. These are known as the "poor man's calton." As most of you would know, this is a Greg Rich era banjo. The banjo is totally original with the exception of the tone ring, the original nickel Kulesh (AFP ?) ring has been replaced with a "Gibson" branded tone ring that appears to be slightly gold in color, and there is a serial number on the underside of the face lip. I suspect the ring is from a Gibson BlackJack. Banjo is in very good condition, with no dings, scratches, belt buckle rash, or any of the sort. Plays and sounds great. At some point a "mitch tone plate mate" was added; if one doesn't like that I'll either remove it, or a buyer can easily do so, it is held on with velcro. It has an AMB co. head, Snuffy Smith bridge, spikes at A and B. Hard case included of course!! Price may be negotiable a bit. Pics coming shortly. If further info or pics are needed, fire me an email thru the hangout or call H (540) 474-2009, cell (540) 908-9419. Thanks!!
