likely a 50's armrest with tightening bar bent as it was when it came to me on a banjo about 7 or 8 months ago...very shiny so my guess is that its chrome....perfect condition other than the bend in the bracket, I have been playing a banjo with it on if for months and its never complained....very fairly priced , first one served..thanks much....434 209 7798......
