Up for sale is a banjo that started life as a TB1 and has been converted to a OPF flat top. Year is late 20's but unknown exact, as with some of the TB1's, there is no FON marked.
All hardware is modern including the Huber HR-30 ring.
The pot on the banjo was originally put together by a builder here on the Hangout. Originally it had a Faulkner ring and one of his necks. He in turn sold it to another BHO member that swapped the ring for an HR-30 and had the neck currently on the banjo built by Frank Neat.
I have no idea how the original build played or sounded.......as it sited today, it is a real Hoss. Excellent tone and volume to spare.
The speed neck has wreath inlay and the resonator has been re-skinned......gorgeous.
Spikes at 7-10 and banjo will ship in a nice HSC.
I am only selling to fund another. Any questions please feel free to email or call.
