Nice fretless Reiter Standard, ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck, 11" rim, Elite Amber head, Chris Sands nylon strings, 5 Star tuners, no knot tailpiece. Made in 2000. The neck is in excellent shape, but the back of the rim has a 1/4" ding (see pictures) and normal wear for a banjo that has been played. Hardware is in good shape, no rust or corrosion, but it could use some cleaning and polish.
Comes with a yellowish white tweed hard shell case that appears to have a replacement latch added to the side of the neck section near the accessory case.
Sound files of this banjo can be found on my Media page as MP3s (Old Joe Clark, Reiter Fretless tunes, and Shove That Pigs Foot...). Even with nylon strings this banjo holds its own in a jam with a guitar and fiddle.
