This is a fine quality resonator at a reasonable price. About the construction. I use the finest quality materials and glue. The sidewall is made from 3 ply of solid maple,and turned to a taper on the inside portion and then overlayed with veneer on the outer portion. The back... The back has about a 6 degree dome shape (radius) made from Fine Quality Baltic Birch and overlayed with a Curly Maple veneer on the outside portion and overlayed with straight grain maple veneer on the inside portion. With the Maple sides and maple veneer they really pack a punch of tone.
