1890's-ish Buckbee open-back banjo; no name plates or marks indicating maker but all aspects point towards Buckbee. It has 38 tension-hooks, a few of which do not match, and has a really nice brass patina on the pot, (most of the German silver is worn off). It looks to be a very early, if not original skin-head. It has a very desirable "Elite" tailpiece, four ivoroid tuners and an ebony fifth-string. It is strung-up with Chris Sands Classic strings on a mistral-bridge, comes with strap shown and is a good player. Please do not hesitate to make an offer :)
