No one would not like this banjo. This is the last banjo in this batch that I am selling for my friend with medical problems, and it is a corker. It is a 1931 Gibson TB1, FOB # 9845-x, fitted with an unplated Yates V33 tone ring and a Neat neck. Here is the good: It plays and sounds incredible. The bad: It has a replacement flange and two replacement hook and nuts. The original tension hoop is very solid and sound, but shows a fair amount of the zink pot metal under the original plating on about half of the hoop top. All other hardware, including a pre-war Presto tailpiece, which we know didn't come on the banjo, appears to be original. I have just done a complete set-up on this instrument and the rim and resonator appear in excellent condition. The neck is well matched to the resonator and is mahogany and plays superfine.
