Here is a video of this banjo:

This is another banjo that I am selling for a friend with medical issues. It is a very nice example of the first batch of TB2s that Gibson produced with the one piece flanges in 1929. I believe that the flange and tension hoop are original but the flange has been re-plated. 14 of the hooks and 23 of the nuts are original as well as the armrest and resonator hardware. The tailpiece and thumbscrews are reproduction. The owner believes that the neck is from Frank Neat and that does look to be the case. The neck has been nicely speed necked and comes with all Kieth tuners(2-D-tuners and 2-plain) This banjo also has a like new Calton case. The banjo has a gold Huber Vintage tone ring that is perfectly fit to the rim. I have just completed a set-up of this banjo and it really has the goods. Very strong bottom end and well balanced through-out. This is a professional quality instrument in every way. Someone could get a very nice Christmas present...Bill
