I have only seen about 4 of these early post-war style 100s with the double bound resonators. Most of the folks who I have talked with about these banjos believe that on the first number of banjos that left Gibson in 1949, many of the parts and piece used were left over from before the war. This example is the best that I have seen and in what I call near mint condition and 100% correct. It even has a calf skin head and a pre-war case. This would be great as and all original tenor or, they make the very best conversion banjos that I have come across. Anyway, someones going to get a great banjo...Bill
