A very nice Gibson Flying Eagle reproduction neck. I don’t know the origin of the neck but it is very well made. It plays really, really well and is extremely comfortable. It just feels good. Tuners of unknown origin are included and work very well.
Neck wood is mahogany with a dark stain and the fingerboard is rosewood. RR spikes at 7 and 9.
It has very few little scratches and dings here and there which will show in the pics. Also, the lag bolts have been removed.
Nut width is 1 3/16ths of an inch which is just perfect for somebody with smaller hands.
It looks like it is cut nicely for a one piece flange. However, check out the picture and be aware that as with any neck it might require some slight modification to get the action that you want on your banjo.
It played with a very nice low action on the last banjo that I had it on.
