This is a very nice banjo that I've had for almost a year now. Last February the banjo fell off my instrument stand and onto my cement basement floor breaking off the headstock. I researched it and did a self repair using hot hide glue and it came out rock solid and has been that way since the repair. The cosmetics of the repair were less than ideal as seen in the pictures, i sanded down the finish around the break and have not restained or finished it, but the joint is solid.
The banjo comes with a 5-Star Head installed, it also comes with a Fults 1934 tailpiece installed, and will include the original hard shell case. The banjo will NOT come with the original head or original tailpiece, they are currently in use on another instrument, if you really want them let me know and we can work something out.
Because it is so hard to show the condition of the break with pictures and explain it without seeing it in person I will allow a perspective buyer to inspect the banjo for 7 days after it is delivered and decide if it is acceptable. I will refund the person's money (minus shipping charges) if after inspection they don't want the banjo.
