This re-issue Gibson Granada, SN: 05 08FE is in mint condition and has the sound that you want in a professional banjo. It is also 100% original except the 5th string PIP. The original was cut to deep and not serviceable so I replaced it with an old bone PIP fashioned as per a 1930 original RB PIP.
The wood and metal on this banjo are perfect in every way. It has had a complete set-up by me and sounds as good as any banjo that I have had in the shop. This is in collector condition as opposed to player condition, and they aren't making anymore...Bill
