Hey folks
Here we have an iida 239 from the 70s. The 239 is the top of the line flathead from the top of the line Japanese masterclone company of the time. All the bells and whistles. Gold hardware. Hearts and flowers inlay. Checkerboard style binding on neck and reso. This thing looks like it was barely touched over its lifetime. Frets look almost new and no nicks. A little wear on the armrest. It does have a downfall. It looks like it had some cold winters. The binding on the resonator is cracked all around. I tried to show it in the pics. Really a shame because this thing would be almost showroom shape if not for that. A good luthier should be able to fix it. It's not falling off so it didn't bother me. Still sounds just like it should. Comes with an old tkl richelieu case in pretty good case. The case is probably worth a fair amount. I'll get some pics of it.
