This fine 5-string banjo is in truly mint condition, with no scratches or dings, and little or no fret wear. It was originally purchased by another luthier, I was told, who used it as an example to learn from, but did not play it at all. I have played it very little in the few months I have owned it. Hence, it is truly in pristine condition and sounds great, with a great bottom "plunk" along with a powerful, sparkling but not too bright higher register.
