This Custom Banjo is made from the some of the finest parts available. The pot assembly comes from First Quality Music Supply. The rim was originally stained a mahogany color but then changed to gloss black lacquer to match the unique gray finish on the banjo. The rim is capped in maple and bound it inside and out with W/B/W binding.
The neck was built from a FQ CNC neck with an ebony fingerboard and also bound in W/B/W binding. It measures 1 1/4” at the nut. The tuners are Waverly 5 Star with ivoroid buttons. There is no fret wear. Spikes at 7, 9 and 10. The curly maple resonator comes from Steve Gill and it’s bound it also in W/B/W binding.
The entire banjo is finished in nitro lacquer and buffed to a high gloss.
