I'm selling a Bishline Danny Barnes banjo that I bought a year ago used from Elderly Instruments, it is in excellent condition. It weighs in at a light weight of 8.7 pounds, very light weight for a banjo, and not lacking in tone at all (sounds great). If you're tired of lugging around a heavy banjo and would like something that doesn't strain your back when playing this could be your answer.
Here is a description of the banjo:
EC, 11" frosted plastic head, maple blockrim serves as a tone ring, black flange and tension hoop, 24 brackets, burled mahogany resonator with flamed maple binding, mahogany neck, flamed maple-bound 22 fret ebony fingerboard, ebony headstock overlay with with pearl logo and torch inlays, 5 geared tuners with pearloid buttons, Presto tailpiece, 1-1/4" nut, ~25-1/2" scale, with HSC (green lining).
