While this is a banjo that I have had for sale for awhile, I have recently replaced the tone ring on this banjo. I did bring it to the Joe Val festival last weekend where it received great reviews. This banjo has the exact same pot assembly as the style 11s that I did for Bob Amos and Russell Sawler with the exception that the hardware on this one is new. As with Bob and Russell's banjos, I have used a no-hole flathead Sloan ring from batch 04-12. This is a great sounding banjo and it has been together for 1 week. The neck is mahogany with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. I am very pleased with the results and am offering it with a hard case and satisfaction guarantee for $4800...Bill
