This is Brooks Banjo #258. It is a Brooks one-piece walnut neck mated to an 1890s Washburn silverspun pot. It has an S-scoop and side-dots with no dots on the fretboard. It has a 10 7/8" pot that does have some tarnishing, which is purely aesthetic. It does not hurt the banjo at all. The scale length is 25 1/2".
I'm including an additional bridge with the banjo, as well as a new gig-bag. This banjo has a great, plunky old-time tone that works well with clawhammer and two-finger picking.
I'm selling this banjo to help pay for some unexpected vet expenses. I was torn between selling this and my Ome. The Ome won out however, due to its sentimental value.
(I had someone back out on purchasing this. It's back on the market.)
