Very nice banjo for all styles. This is build #14 for Jeremy and he is doing a fine job. I think he has built 20 banjos total and he told me that the wait is usually about six months for a new banjo. The wait sure is worth it as it is a fine sounding, well made banjo.
This particular model features an unplated Bill Rickard WL tone ring, Ash neck, Ash block rim which is 3.5 inches deep and really brings out the bass, slotted headstock, "S" shaped frailing scoop, and aged hardware. A remo head, Tru oil finish, and a J. Rushing bridge complete this banjo. You will not do any better in this price range.
The sound is loud, rich, and full. You will not be disappointed. Only selling to fund the purchase another purchase to satisfy my recent pre-war bug. Check out the video of me playing the banjo.
