This is a brand new Deering Golden Era 5-String banjo with 5th string spikes at frets 7, 9, and 10 being sold by the authorized Deering Master Dealer - Banjo Studio.

Select flame maple neck & resonator with Cremona sunburst finish, white binding, 20-hole bell bronze tone ring, one-piece cast zinc flange, double cut peghead, Deering tailpiece, bound ebony fretboard with hearts & flowers inlay pattern, ebony peghead overlay inlaid with pearl, planetary tuners, nickel hardware. Styled after banjos of the pre-war "Golden Era" with a fuller neck & deeper resonator than other Deerings. Resonator walls taper for better sound projection. Deering wooden archtop hardshell case included.
