This beauty is from master luthier Wyatt Fawley himself. Wyatt is best known for his old-time Vega style conversions but he also builds a few banjos here and there (very few) and this one is all him.
Beautifully engraved inlays up and down the neck and on the headstock, comfortable, easy playing neck, quality tuners, non-frosted Remo head.
11 inch pot
23 inch scale
"little wonder" style tone ring
tortious shell binding on the rim
Dowel rod construction with Wyatt's name and serial number 32311. A scale neck is at home in C, D, A, or even G (and thus played like a regular scale banjo--when played this way it yields a FAT sound that doesn't have to take a back seat to any of those bigger banjos)
This banjo is loud and proud and can be played, plucked, picked, clawhammered, drop-thumbed, or frailed as you please. Comes shipped in a nice hardshell case.
She is in mint condition--not a scratch anywhere--and is a fine example of Wyatt's work.
