One of the few Kalamazoo banjos that I've seen with a serial number.
This one is in great all original condition except for the bridge. Just beautiful. It looks like it left Gibson's factory a few years ago not several decades ago. The serial number dates this one to about 1933 or so.
Excellent example of Gibson quality and craftsmanship at a price that you won't find any lower. 1/2 inch rim, flatback resonator, no fret wear. Friction tuners are excellent--no issues.
This one is a beauty for the collector. As always I'd prefer to sell this to somebody who won't try and convert it to a five string tone ring monster. These are meant to be left as they are.
original hardshell case is in bad shape but is included.
