This is the very nice 1/4 inch older Stew Mac Alum. integral archtop rim. Andy Boarman made a banjo out of one of these for Don Reno and Don cut the first album with Bill Harrell with that banjo.
I've heard that these are very good and quite loud. Do a search on the forums and see what others have to say.
I've never had a neck on it before. I intended to make a nice banjo with it but now I've got a little one on the way and I need some space!
