Vintage 1920s 11 13/16" calfskin banjo head, stamped "Tom F. Ludwig Selected Banjo Head" on the inside. Square flesh hoop. It is high, about 5/8", stretched out well. Very nice condition. No holes or tears. There is a brown spot (shown in the photo), which will not be seen when the head is mounted, that seems to be a thin spot, but which does not affect the integrity if the head in my opinion. I had this head on a 1922 Vega Tubaphone rim and it was fine.
