This is a new Gold Star GF-100 with the flying eagle pattern on the fingerboard. I bought it on eBay (just got it yesterday).
Why am I selling it? Because it's the wrong instrument for me. I play mostly clawhammer and old-time styles. I thought this banjo would enhance my mode of playing with some added volume, but this is a bluegrass banjo! It's made to be picked, Scruggs style.
I'm going to return it to the seller, but I thought I'd see if anyone here had an interest in it. I paid $969.00 for it. If you're interested in buying it for that price, respond here or send me an email (gw_in_ohio@yahoo.com). I can email you pictures, but if you go here, you can read the description of it on eBay, with pictures: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270042495911&rd=1&rd=1 " target="_blank"> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270042495911&rd=1&rd=1
