Alvarez Silver Belle 5 string banjo that's in excellent condtion. Doesn't show any wear whatsoever and the finish and plating is excellent. Frets, neck, fingerboard, hardware, and head just great and a very nice HSC is included with sale of this instrument. Banjo is more than likely 10/15 years old or so, but sat in the case in the closet most of its life.
Banjo has a mahogany neck, with veneers down the center, maple resonator, rosewood fingerboard. This is an ideal beginner to intermediate 5 string banjo for the individual that is just getting into the banjo playing lifestyle and for a reasonable amount of investment. Also included is a banjo chord book by Larry Sandburg, a beginning banjo book by Geoff Howald and a VHS tape by Murphy Henry with 5 basic bluegrass songs taught note for note with high breaks and back up.
