I'm selling my gold star gf-85 banjo that I purchased new in March of 2010. This is a great sounding banjo, a very good copy of a classic gibson banjo. It has a very comfortable neck and very easy playing. It is in excellent shape. I had spikes installed at the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets when I purchased the banjo. I'm including a nice black cradle strap with the banjo that's extremely soft and comfortable. It comes with a nice hardshell case.
The Gold star gf-85 is a classic pre-war style flathead banjo, 3-ply rock maple rim, bound mahogany resonator, bound mahogany neck w/ ornate pearl inlaid rosewood fretboard, double-cut peghead with ornate inlay, adjustable truss rod, die-cast 1-piece flange, 20-hole die cast bronze flathead tone ring, planetary tuners, geared 5th peg, Presto tailpiece, armrest, all hardware nickel-plated.
