Huber Lancaster Model banjo, received in 2007. ***EDIT 3.22.12*** Thanks to Derek (destring) I realized this banjo's serial number 506-53 indicates the parts are from '06, which makes sense as I ordered it in '06 but received it in '07!!!!
Asking $3400 or best offer. Has a clean speed neck with w/b/w binding. Bought for $3600 after visiting Steve's shop and discussing the banjo, later picked up at IBMA 2007 directly from Steve at his booth. Price includes a nice TKL case and drum torque wrench. *Edit 1.9.12* D-Tuners are no longer available from the original offer (D-Tuners were never installed on this banjo but were originally offered separately). This currently has a custom truss rod cover with my initials, which I will remove prior to sale. RR spikes are on the 7th, 9th, & 10th frets. Overall, the banjo is close to mint condition. If we are able to meet up and you can play/handle it personally, the banjo will sell itself.
The tone of this banjo sounds great and the playability feels great as well. The frets are in great shape with minimum wear. I can send additional pictures of any part of the banjo you request.
